Earlybird prize
Anyone registering before 5:00pm WST Sunday 10 September will be in the running to win an amazing Metro stroller (Mist colour) valued at $649 thanks to our event partner, Reds Baby. The winner will be contacted via email and published on the Big Pram Walk Facebook page Monday 11 September.

General Information
Check In
Registered partipants can collect their event ID bands from the Registrations stall on event day from 8:00am. Please bring ID or your event registration receipt to collect your ID band.
Your ID band will entitle you to receive free access to all children’s activities in the Gidget Garden and Main Stage so make sure you are wearing to enjoy the full Big Pram Walk experience.
First Aid
St. John’s Ambulance will be providing first aid services to patrons at the finish line for those needing medical assistance. If you have a need for medical attention out on the walk course, please ask our course marshals who will arrange for St. John’s Ambulance to attend to your needs.
Ambassadors
Channel 9’s Emmy Kubainski and Lisa Fernandez alongside Kirsten Bouse – WA’s very own Conscious Mother – and community ambassador Megan Cherry are involved in our 2017 event. Read more about the support they are giving our event here.
Spot Prizes
There are heaps of great prizes to be won at the Big Pram Walk thanks to our very generous event partners and supporters. Make sure you hang around until 12:00pm and you could walk away with some amazing prizes.

A range of food and beverage providers will be selling their wares to satisfy your cravings on event day.
Parking
There is no parking within Elizabeth Quay on event day. The most convenience parking facilities are at The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre or the City of Perth Parking facility at Terrace Road. Plan your journey by visiting https://www.cityofperthparking.com.au.
Transport
Elizabeth Quay is conveniently located next to The Esplanade train station.
Cloakroom
No cloakroom will be available at The Big Pram Walk.
Toilets
Toilet facilities (including disabled access facilities) will be available at our event site at Elizabeth Quay.

The Conscious Mother

Kirstin Bouse is Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with 20-years’ experience in peri-natal mental health, parenting, anxiety and depression, trauma, family breakdown and relationships. Kirstin has also developed The Conscious Mother’s Program for women at ALL stages of their motherhood journey whether they are experiencing difficulties or not. The primary aim of program is to help women prepare for, and successfully navigate, the psychological elements of motherhood.
The Conscious Mother’ Book written by Kirstin Bouse will be available to purchase from the Baby Steps Health Centre marque at The Big Pram Walk. Alternatively, if you can’t wait… you can purchase it from Baby Steps Health Centre located at 21/127 Herdsman Parade, Wembley 6014.
Food for Fussy Toddlers

Dr Kyla Smith is a paediatric dietitian who specialises in fussy eating. She is passionate about working with picky eaters and their families to help make mealtimes more enjoyable for everyone. Kyla has worked with fussy eaters for 10 years, and understands the difficulties parents face- she definitely won’t tell you to “just make them eat it!”. She works with Lauren Pike, Occupational Therapist, at Mealtime Building Blocks to support Perth fussy eaters. Kyla also lectures in Dietetics at a Perth university and has completed her PhD in childhood obesity. You can read her blog and product reviews at www.mealtimes.com.au

Manager Raphael Services WA

Donna is passionate about mental health in particular providing exceptional care and support to parents experiencing stress, anxiety and depression before, during and after pregnancy.
As manager of St John of God Raphael Services WA Donna is responsible for the delivery of specialised perinatal infant mental health care, across four WA locations, to enhance the emotional health and wellbeing of parents experiencing emotional health challenges.
She is an established mental health clinician and leader having held positions at a number of Western Australian mental health services.
Prior to joining St John of God Raphael Services, Donna was a Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist at Fiona Stanley Hospital’s Mother Baby Unit (MBU), and was a Clinical Nurse Specialist at King Edward Memorial Hospital’s MBU.
