As stated and agreed to in the registration terms and conditions, no refunds will be given under any circumstance. All registration fees go to supporting Gidget Foundation launch its tele health services in Western Australia later this year.

Is there somewhere I can leave my bag?2017-07-28T08:44:51+00:00

There are no cloakroom facilities at The Big Pram Walk, so please take all your personal belongings with you on the walk. Event owners will not be held responsible for lost or stolen valuables on event day.

Any donations made via Register Now will go to Big Pram Walk beneficiary Gidget Foundation.

The Gidget Foundation is launching the Start Talking campaign featuring face-to-face and telehealth services in Western Australia in October 2017.

With the support of Professor Megan Galbally, Foundation Chair in Perinatal Psychiatry, School of Psychology and Exercise Science & School of Medicine, University of Notre Dame, Consultant Psychiatrist, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Dr Richelle Douglas, Medical Director Sexual Health Quarters, Dr Leon Levitt, founder Baby Steps Health Centre, the Start Talking campaign will offer
telehealth service for men and women in rural, remote and indigenous communities affected by perinatal mental health disorders.

All participants receive their showbag once they return to Elizabeth Quay after the walk

Pets are unfortunately not permitted at Elizabeth Quay so please leave them at home on event day.

Yes you will. There will be a range of healthy family friendly food and beverage vendors on event day.

The event will finish at 12:00pm, but there is plenty to see and do in Perth City, so why not make a day of it?

What is happening on the Main Stage on event day?2017-07-28T08:43:23+00:00

We have a range of people presenting on topics such as baby nutrition, mental health, sleep and family health. We also have a mums and bubs yoga session, live acoustic music, spot prize giveaways and more throughout the morning.

Are there drink stations out on the course?2017-07-28T08:43:13+00:00

There are no drink stations on The Big Pram Walk course. Please take drink bottles with you on the walk. Water bubblers will be available within Elizabeth Quay.

Wear clothes suitable for walking on paths and grass. It may be hot and sunny on event day, so please remember to cover up and wear a hat and sunscreen.

3.5km is a little long for me – do I have to complete the entire walk course?2017-07-28T08:42:31+00:00

Not at all. We understand that 3.5km is a long way for little legs. At any point on the course, you can turn around and return to Elizabeth Quay to enjoy our family entertainment and activities.

How long will it take to walk the course?2017-07-28T08:42:18+00:00

It will take somewhere between 35 minutes and an hour to walk the 3.5km course, depending on how fit your group is and whether your little ones will want to walk part/all of the course.

The event officially opens at 8:00am, and the walk kicks off at 9:00am. We have plenty of entertainment, activities and food vendors in action between 8:00am and 12:00pm.

I have a toddler with me – will they have to pay?2017-07-28T08:41:53+00:00

Children under 12 are free, but you still need to register their attendance online to ensure they are covered by event insurance and you receive the additional benefits on race day.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?2017-07-28T08:41:43+00:00

No, registrations cannot be transferred to another person for insurance purposes. Anyone wanting to register for the event needs to register for themselves. For those unable to participate The Big Pram Walk does not offer a refund on entry fees unfortunately.

Can I register more people to my group on event day?2017-07-28T08:41:33+00:00

Of course! All you will need is your team captain name to register additional group members on event day.

I entered a group of 6 or more people – can I collect race ID bands for all group members?2017-07-28T08:41:20+00:00

Yes you can. All you will need is your ID and names of all members of the group.

What information do I need to receive my ID band on event day?2017-07-28T08:41:09+00:00

You will need to bring your driver’s licence or registration receipt in order to collect your ID band on event day.

Do I receive a race pack?2017-07-28T08:41:01+00:00

Participants won’t receive a race pack prior to race day. To enjoy all the free entertainment and family activities on race day, you will be required to collect an ID band on Sunday morning. Once you finish the walk event, you will also receive a showbag full of fantastic product samples from our event partners.
